A Dose of Nature: Nature RX Programs in Public Gardens (V)*

Session Information

Stressed out by these uncertain times? Get a healthy dose of outdoor time in nature! Development and implementation of Nature Rx programs are reconnecting people with nature. Research into nature experiences illustrates positive physical and mental responses for varying life stages and needs. Educational campuses, health care settings, green spaces and parks are providing a growing body of evidence of health benefits. Barriers to nature will be identified, as well as actionable ways to make these spaces more inclusive, diverse and accessible for all. Explore how a prescribed "dose of nature" may improve engagement with community members and your Botanical Garden.
